John McPhee , history, travel essays
All his book are super interesting..historical laced with the present-day, quick reads too.

This one for instance Is on Orange production in Florida and the history of oranges...sounds boring but it's not.

by John McPhee (Author)

OR this one on Bill Bradley

A Sense of Where You Are: Bill Bradley at Princeton

byJohn McPhee

"I am a big fan of John McPhee and I'm trying to read all of his work. He's just a phenomenal writer and has an uncanny knack for bringing people to life as he weaves a tale of science, history, basketball, writing and other non-fiction topics, so the subjects are never dry or boring. They are filled with real human beings, warts and all. I just love reading him. This is one of his earlier works and it shows the greatness that made it not just a great sports book but a universal tale of competitiveness, work ethic and physical and emotional drive".

Amarillo Slim pworld full of fat people oker book. Easy read cool stories on how and what they would gamble on back in the day. Not all about poker. Guy was pretty fascinating

John Daly in the rough. Lots of cool just real life stories not covered public eye nobody brings up. Easy read

Roy Halliday Doc.

Vince Lombardi’s When pride still mattered. Ties in some coaching tree history that’s neat.

Mein Kempf great read if you want to see where liberal ideology comes from. Deep read

Into the wild easy read and book way better than movie

The Iliad and Odyssey books that made me beat my head against the wall in school but way better reading when older for me personally. Deep read

Carlos Hatcock marine sniper. Guy has some wild Vietnam stories being alone for days hunting down targets. Wild stuff. Easy read

Amazing read! I felt as if I was lost for days just floating in space till I was done reading it. Book hit hard when I finally put it down.

Michio Kaku has a bunch of physics books super easy reads if not a physics or science guy. Quantum mechanics and Worm Holes, Black Holes, speed light and string theory and look into the minds of Tesla and Einstein. Correlation to lots of working functions in society today and how we got there. If you want to explore parallels and simulation theory etc, then he can explain things in a super easy way if not much understanding or even like of science and physics etc.
